My kayak guiding work takes me from the Arctic to Antarctica and staying warm and comfortable can be tricky to get right. Turning to natural materials could be seen as a step backwards by some, but we have a lot to gain from natures wonder material.

On polar voyages I do have the luxury of bringing more luggage and multiple changes of base layers. So I can use a number of different layers throughout the expedition. From freezing cold temperatures on the water to chatting in the lounge or scouting on deck, I am almost always in a ISOBAA base.  
At home I find myself wearing ISOBAA layers more and more as the autumn days draw in.  The only time I have found merino slightly uncomfortable is if I was doing a high intensity training session. If I am sweating I can feel the wool fibers more on my skin. This maybe a personal thing. Overall I am very happy with ISOBAA products and working with this fantastic company. I'd highly recommend to start adding ISOBAA merino products to your wardrobe and adventure kit.
